A short five-second TikTok has sparked an important discussion: Can you tell how cute a guy is by the shoes he’s wearing?

A male commenter had a particularly astute observation: “Being a cute guy is literally 75% dressing nice.” Listen, he’s not wrong. So many men seemingly put zero effort into how they present themselves (for a variety of reasons, many of which are valid; it can be overwhelming to know where to start when it comes to dressing well!) that the simple act of doing so will make you appear significantly more attractive to many women.

Much of it depends on your age, profession and who you’re trying to attract, however. After all, a 40-year-old office worker in gently worn Adidas Sambas is a very different vibe to a 21-year-old college student sporting them with white denim cutoffs.
